WHERE HISTORY
STILL LIVES…

Within the historic rooms of the original stone building, dating back to 1862, every stay becomes a journey into another era.

Behind the old wooden doors, the marble details, the original ceilings and floors, and the distinctive objects that have survived the passage of time, the atmosphere of the old La Belle Hélène de Ménélas still lives on. Every element has been preserved with exceptional personal care and deep respect by the Maragos family.

Within these very rooms, remarkable figures of world history were once welcomed as guests - archaeologists, writers, poets, researchers, and travellers who came to Mycenae in search of something remarkable, mysterious, and timeless.

Today, these rooms preserve their authentic character while combining the historical details of another era with modern amenities and understated luxury. Each room bears the name of a person who truly stayed here, offering a unique hospitality experience filled with memory, atmosphere, and history.
