Guest Policy
Our aim is to provide you with an authentic, safe, and enjoyable hospitality experience. To ensure the smooth operation of the property and respect for all our guests, we kindly ask you to observe the following guidelines during your stay.
1. Check-in & Check-out
Check-in and check-out are available during the times stated in your booking confirmation.
Should you require an early check-in or a late check-out, please contact us in advance. Requests are subject to availability and may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
2. Respect for the Historic Property
La Belle Hélène de Ménélas is housed within historic buildings featuring authentic architectural elements, period furnishings, and historical artefacts that have been carefully preserved with great respect.
We kindly ask you to treat all areas, furnishings, equipment, and historic objects with the same level of care, helping us preserve their historical and cultural significance.
3. Peaceful Stay
For the comfort of all guests, please observe the designated quiet hours in accordance with applicable Greek legislation.
During these hours, loud conversations, music, and any activity likely to disturb the peace and comfort of other guests should be avoided.
4. Use of Rooms & Facilities
Please use your room, the shared areas, equipment, and all property facilities responsibly and with due care.
Any damage resulting from improper use may be charged to the guest responsible.
5. Access to the Property
The shared areas of La Belle Hélène de Ménélas, including the Café-Restaurant, Museum Replica Shop, Art Gallery, Traditional Delicatessen, Wine Cellar, Open Kitchen, and the spaces where cultural, gastronomic, and artistic experiences take place, are accessible during their operating hours and subject to the specific terms applicable to each service.
Access to the accommodation areas and guest rooms is reserved exclusively for registered guests or individuals who have received prior authorisation from the Management.
The Management reserves the right to refuse or terminate access to any person whenever deemed necessary for reasons relating to safety, the protection of guests and staff, the proper operation of the property, or where conduct is inconsistent with these Terms or applicable legislation.
6. Smoking Policy
La Belle Hélène de Ménélas is a non-smoking property.
Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes or vaping devices, is prohibited in all indoor areas in accordance with applicable Greek legislation.
Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor areas of the property, with due respect for other guests and the historic character of the premises.
7. Pets
Pets are welcome only by prior arrangement with the Management and in accordance with the property's applicable pet policy.
Pet owners are solely responsible for the supervision, cleanliness, and safe conduct of their pets throughout their stay.
8. Room Access Devices
Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of the room access device (key or electronic key card) provided at check-in.
In the event of loss, failure to return, or damage, La Belle Hélène de Ménélas reserves the right to charge the applicable replacement cost or the cost of restoring the access system, where necessary.
9. Security of Personal Belongings
Although every reasonable effort is made to ensure the safety of our guests and their belongings, we recommend using the in-room safe for the storage of valuables.
La Belle Hélène de Ménélas accepts no responsibility for the loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings except where otherwise required by applicable law.
10. Health & Hygiene
All areas of the property are cleaned and maintained daily in accordance with high standards of hygiene and safety.
Please notify the Management immediately of any issue relating to cleanliness, safety, or the proper functioning of your room or any shared area.
11. Illegal or Dangerous Activities
Any activity that violates Greek law or endangers the safety of guests, staff, property, or the historic buildings is strictly prohibited.
12. Professional Photography & Filming
Professional photography, filming, or any commercial production within the property is permitted only with the prior approval of the Management.
13. Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of our staff and all safety signage displayed throughout the property.
La Belle Hélène de Ménélas shall not be held liable for any failure to provide services resulting from force majeure events, including natural disasters, severe weather conditions, government measures, or any other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
